Volunteer With the CSA

Here are some ways to be an active part of the Plowshares community and become involved in raising your own food.

How You Can Help
  • Become part of the core group (bi-monthly meetings during harvest)
  • Volunteer time to help Rose at the farm (planting, weeding, irrigation set-up, seeding in the greenhouse)
  • Help with market days (downtown at Union Street on Wednesday, Saturday at Haile Plantation)
  • Write for the CSA newsletter and website

We also need help harvesting vegetables on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
